Three SL100s in 2 days!

Last weekend was crazy busy! On Friday we had Downtown After 5, Asheville's favorite street festival. This year is the 30th anniversary of Downtown After 5 and features lots of local talent. Last week Town Mountain and Sanctum Scully took the stage. We provided an SL100 with a d&b Y line array. Eight per side Y8/Y12 boxes with four B22 subs. In the lighting world we brought an all LED rig consisting of our new Elation Six Par 200IP lights. Rain or shine these fixtures can light up the stage.

Later in the day we had a crew over at Sierra Nevada setting up another SL100 for Saturdays Beer Camp. Sierra Nevada describes Beer Camp as: "It’s an epic adult day camp like you’ve never seen before." They're not lying! There were lots of adult activities, including: rock climbing, ropes corses, cornhole, keg bowling and lots more. If you like games and drinking beer in the sun this was the place to be! Don't miss it next year. We provided the main stage and another d&b Y series line array with B22 subs. It was a day time show, so the lighting was minimal but our Mac 101s did a great job creating some mood on the stage.

Stage number 3 set up Saturday morning for the 2 day All Go West Festival. This is one of our favorites every year. Lots of great bands on stage and you get to bump into everyone that you know from around town. All Go West Festival is the perfect sized event for our d&b V7P point source rig. This compact system consists of one V7P main, one E8 down fill and one B22 sub per side (There was a reggae band on this festival so we added two d&b C7 subs) It is a very cost effective system that definitely packs a punch. We get lots of comments about how impressive the sound is for it's size. Lighting for All Go West is always fun. This year we used Elation Six par 200ip fixtures for the downstage wash. Upstage we had seven more Elation Six Pars and 9 Mac 101s.
